Three things are on my mind this week – but mostly I’m thinking of my parents. I haven’t seem them for a while and I miss them. They live in Arizona, and have never seen our store, so I took bunches of pictures to show them. I’ve done this at least 50 times in the past, but was always defeated by the amount of time I needed to get them on our website.
Also, this weekend is Support Your Small Business weekend, and we want to encourage everyone to go out and purchase some of their Christmas gifts from small businesses like the 30 or more that reside in our mall – The Market Place.
Last, but not the least, we want to remind everyone of our Christmas Extravaganza on December 14th and 15th. Those who have come to this wonderful event before know how much fun it is to eat, drink and jabber with Don and the other artists who have come to show off their art. There aren’t many places where you can sip a Margarita while watching Don create lampwork beads with hot molten glass. We will, of course, have our annual array of beautiful Christmas Spiders and Crystal Angels. If you are into antiques, collectibles, weird stuff or terrific and artsy decor items, this is the event and place for you. There is even a new toy store for the kiddies, manly things for the man of the house, and just tons of gifts for us ladies.
Taking care of the last idea first, below is a flyer telling you all about our 11th Annual Holiday Extravaganza. To show you all about our store, and encourage you to visit us this weekend, I’ve put bunches of pictures of our store and put them in our “Store in Houston” (in black bar across the top of the page). We hope you’ll take a gander at them. I know it’s overwhelmingly bright and dripping with so many beautiful items that it stuns the eyes, but you just might find that perfect item that makes it worth your shopping time to pay us a visit. So here goes . . .
