I love glass, and this small room in our store is dedicated to pink, teal, clear and black glass. And much more.

I can't resist lovely lamps, and here are three. I love things with a history or a story to pass on to the next proud owner.

Our huge windows bring in the sun and dazzle our alcove area when it shines through all our colored glass. As you can see, we're getting ready for Christmas big time!

On the top shelf are two wood bowls made by my Liz and Jim Burchill, my parents. Also they made the wood clock, and Mother made the Southwestern style gord. Charlene Seeman shows her gord art on the second shelf.

My sister, Susan, sent me some beautiful tissue papers to sell. She recently purchased a fine paper company, and we'll be showing them off as the year goes on.

Until 2010 we traveled the art show-home show-festival circuit all over Texas and Louisiana (and one season in Florida).  Our first year (2003) we did 44 shows.  By 2010 we were down to 24, a result of 4 hurricanes and a falling economy.  When this little store, just down the street from our home, opened up, we jumped at the opportunity.  Our long-time customers like being able to come visit and shop at their leisure. And we really like being there for them.  We still do around 12 shows a year, mostly during Christmas and in the Spring.  In July of 2011 we will have been in our store for two full years. We are a family of artists, so it only seemed right to invite them all to sell their art in our store.  Besides my husband, Don, and I, we have my son, mother, father, sisters, brother, aunt, nieces, sister-in-law, along with a number of artist friends of ours, showing their beautiful pieces here. We couldn’t have done this without the support of our family and friends. And we surely couldn’t have done it without the patronage of so many long-time customers. Thank you all so much. We are very proud of our little store and hope you can visit us someday soon. we have lots and lots of fan pulls and finials on display.
